APPLIED PROBLEM SOLVING IN COACHING ENVIRONMENTS
| Description The course is an applied problem solving and decision making concepts to coaching actual client situations. Course output: At the end of the, the participants will propose a re-entry plan forsituations that require management by objective, coaching, and/or problemsolving that can later be implemented as a quick win initiative. The action planshould focus on opportunities that will improve an existing structure or activity in the host company. |
Course objectives: The participant will: - Discuss theories that relate to problem solving, leadership, and coaching;
- Propose solutions given a problem solving framework;
- Apply problem solving and coaching techniques in simulated settings; and
- Propose initiatives as a re-entry requirement.
Workshop approach - The workshops are interactive. The activities are consistent with the principles of adult learning.
- The workshop uses the case method as one of the learning tools.
- The workshop will use copyrighted materials.
